I am a native Orlandoan whose family first put down roots here more than 40 years ago. Back then, Orlando was still a small town mostly surrounded by orange groves, a place where neighbors knew each other by name and kids played with their friends in the neighborhood or on the school playground shooting hoops. I had the privilege of attending Lake Sybelia Elementary, Maitland Middle, and Edgewater High School and served this community as an Assistant State Attorney for Orange County. As a prosecutor, I was named one of the top government/non-profit attorney’s in Florida by the leading business publication Florida Trend Magazine.
